What Owed is

Owed is a personal record of money between friends and a polite way to ask about it. It isn't a bank, a payment service or a debt collector, and a record in Owed isn't proof that anyone owes anything.

Payments

Owed doesn't process payments. Payment links open your own provider. “I've paid” on a link is your friend's statement, not a confirmation that money arrived.

Fair use

Use links only with people you know, about real shared costs. Don't use Owed to harass anyone. We may limit or remove links that are abusive.

Owed Gold

Owed Gold is a one-time purchase through the App Store and is subject to Apple's terms, including refunds.

Liability

Owed is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for disagreements between you and the people you share links with.
