Common questions

Does my friend need the app?

No. A reply link opens in any browser, where they can pay with your Tikkie or bank link, pick another day or say it's paid. If they have Owed, the link opens there and you can nudge them in the app.

Does Owed move money?

No. Payment links open your own bank or Tikkie. “I've paid” is your friend's message; you record what actually arrived.

How do I restore Owed Gold?

Settings → About → Restore purchase, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.

How do I delete my data?

Withdraw a single link from its IOU, or use Settings → Delete my data to remove everything the link service holds for your phone. Your ledger itself lives on your iPhone (and your private iCloud if you turned on sync).

Ignore it, or email us the link and we'll take a look.
